Coming on November 1st is the Grateful Dead's latest installment of their live Dave's Picks series. The three-disc set, Dave's Picks Volume 8: Fox Theatre, Atlanta, GA 11/30/80, is a longtime tape trader's favorite and is limited to 13,000 individually numbered copies. The concert, which was selected by the group's archivist David Lemieux, was captured just a month after the Dead's legendary performances at New York City's Radio City Music Hall -- the acoustic sets of which comprised part of the band's legendary 1981 live set, Reckoning.

On the new release fans will get a healthy dose of beloved Dead keyboardist Brent Mydland, who died of an accidental overdose on July 26th, 1990.
