David Bowie has scored his first UK Number One in 20 years with his latest album, The New Day. The collection, which Bowie had recorded in secrecy with longtime producer Tony Visconti sold a whopping 94,000 copies, marking Bowie's ninth career chart topper in Britain, which stretched from 1973's Aladdin Sane through 1993's Black Tie White Noise. Billboard reported that Bowie's The New Day easily beat out Bon Jovi's new set, What About Now, which cane in at Number Two with sales of 37,000 units.
