My Daughter Inspires Me: Donates Her Hair for Cancer Patients
We have been growing Thea's hair out for awhile and it is driving me and her crazy! It's thick and full of snarls, because she hates brushing her hair, as most 7-year-olds do.
We finally had time to get it cut. Thea took off 8 inches and is donating it to kids with cancer.
When the stylist cut off the pony tail, she giggled with joy! She is so excited to give her hair to help the kids. She inspires me.
If you want to donate your hair it has to be at least 8 inches and not colored or treated. We are sending ours to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. It's a charity that doesn't charge cancer patients for wigs.
Even better it inspired my friend Sara to cut her's yesterday and donate hers too. Here is the info if you want to help too.
