MTV To Air ‘True Life: I Had My Cousin’s Baby’

MTV's True Life series is one of the shows on the network that I actually enjoy. They've covered everything from drug and alcohol issues, LGBTQ issues, family issues, race issues, mental health issues, all kinds of stuff.

And now this. The story of two sets of young people who are dating and have children with their cousins. I'm not going to lie, I'm probably going to watch this.

I don't want to say outright that these people are terrible, but how do you even look at a relative that way?

One time, after my grandpa died, a relative of mine showed up at the funeral, but he lived in Texas so I hadn't seen him in awhile. For a split second, I thought, "Oh, he's cute." And then I found out who he was and I was grossed out by myself. So to actually have a relationship with a relative seems crazy to me.
