Mother Nature Delivers Another Slap to Western South Dakota Cattlemen

I'm sitting here in a warm studio typing this. I can't help but think about our South Dakota Cattlemen, especially those in western South Dakota right now. It's kind of like here we go again.

The good news is it doesn't sound like we're going to have the incredible amounts of snow that we did have last October but with many ranchers smack dab in the middle of calving season you can't help but feel for them. As of 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon, Sioux Falls was still at 63 degrees. Huron was at 24 degrees. Rapid City 25 with NW winds gusting to 47.

We hope that the storm passes quickly and the weather warms up a bit soon. As easy as it is to moan and groan about the weather for us people living in town, you can't help but feel for the folks working out in the weather again today.  And tonight.
