Almost as soon as Greg Jennings started running down passes at Vikings training camp in Mankato this week, he began running down his former quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, of the Green Bay Packers.

But now, Jennings says, never mind, he was just kidding.  He told the Star Tribune:

I don't really recall saying anything negative about Aaron or anyone over there, but, hey, I apologize.

Seriously, those guys across that state line, I had an outstanding time with those guys.

Everything I say, I'm joking. I'm messing. I'm pulling Aaron's arm.

I mean if he doesn't know that or you guys don't know that, I played with the guy for seven years.

I think he knows that.

So has Jennings really been hiding this incredible sense of humor from all of us, or did his abrupt about-face have anything to do with a meeting with his new head coach, Leslie Frazier, essentially telling him to can the trash talk.

One thing is certain:  Frazier wasn't kidding!
