The Minnesota Vikings are wrapping up the 2016 season, but the 2017 opponents were set following Week 16.

Since 2002, the NFL has used a schedule rotation to set opponents. Each conference will play divisions within its conference on a three year rotation (NFC/NFC or AFC/AFC), while playing against a division from the other conference on a every four year rotation (NFC/AFC). The two other opponents are scheduled based on division standings from the prior year.

The NFC North will play against the AFC North and NFC South next season. Minnesota will host Baltimore, Cincinnati, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay. They will also travel to Pittsburgh, Cleveland (London), Atlanta, and Carolina. The Vikings finished third this year in the NFC and will host Los Angeles (third in NFC West) and travel to Washington (third in NFC East).
