Minnesota Twins top prospect Miguel Sano is turning heads in the team's farm system. Plus, he's making history, too.

Sano is having the type of summer that may deserve a September call-up, and he hasn't even reach Triple-A yet.

Sano has spent the summer of 2013 with High-A Fort Meyers and Double-A New Britain. Between the two minor league stops, Sano has smacked 31 home runs in 108 at-bats. That feat has only been done by four Twins minor-leaguers since 2000. Sano joins Michael Cuddyer, Michael Ryan, and Garrett Jones as the only players to hit 30 home runs.

This year, at High-A Fort Meyers in 56 games, Sano hit .330/.424/.655 with 16 home runs, 15 doubles, 68 hits, and 48 RBIs. At Double-A New Britain in 54 games, Sano hit  .243/.344/.573 with 15 home runs, 12 doubles, 45 hits, and 44 RBIs.

Sano and Twins prospect Byron Buxton were recently featured in Sports Illustrated as well.
