Michael McDonald EP [AUDIO]

Michael McDonald has released a four-song EP with guitarist Robben Ford titled Unfinished Business.

McDonald tells us that Robben, who in addition to doing his own material has also worked with Miles Davis, George Harrison, KISS, Joni Mitchell and others, was "the first guitar player I used in my solo band in the early '80s. I've always been a big fan of his, and while we've written songs together over the years, mostly for his projects, we decided while writing together this time that we would compile some songs for an album or EP. These are tracks that might otherwise have been released on our individual projects or by other artists."

The four songs are  "La Marea Humana," "Judgment Day," "Perfect Illusion" and "Long Haul." McDonald also tells us, "We've also recorded a few  songs other than those and are leaving the door open to a future collaboration.

McDonald starts his tour next month, and in addition to his own headlining shows, he'll also share the bill on some nights with Boz Scaggs and Toto.
