Metallica Streams Live Track From New Movie

Metallica has begun streaming a new live version of "Master Of Puppets" from its upcoming movie, Metallica Through The Never, at RollingStone.com. The song, along with many other Metallica classics performed live in the movie, will be available on the film's official soundtrack album. The record is due out September 24th, while the movie opens in limited release on IMAX screens three days later on the 27th.

The film, a blend of concert movie and fictional narrative, stars Dane DeHaan as a member of Metallica's road crew who is sent on a mysterious mission while the band performs at a sold-out arena and events outside grow more bizarre.
The concert sequences for the movie were shot in August 2012 at two shows in Vancouver, Canada and feature a stage containing elements of many of Metallica's previous live productions from the past 30 years.
