The lineup for Neil Young's annual Bridge School Benefit Concert has been revealed. This is the 30th installment of the event and will include performances by Metallica and Roger Waters, in addition to Young. It will take place on Oct. 22-23 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif.

Young's set will feature Promise of the Real, the band fronted by Lukas Nelson, the son of Willie Nelson, who is also on the bill. The group, along with another of Nelson's sons, Micah, backed Young on 2015's The Monsanto Years. The set orders haven't been announced yet, but other acts scheduled to perform include Nils Lofgren, Dave MatthewsMy Morning Jacket, Norah Jones, Cage the Elephant and case/lang/viers, a new supergroup comprised of singer-songwriters Neko Case, k.d. lang and Laura Viers.

Two VIP packages are available: The Gold ($2,650 per ticket) offers seating in the 100 level, access to an Endowment Donor lounge, VIP parking, a jacket, gift bag and concert merchandise; the Platinum ($5,150 per ticket) adds a better choice of seat and backstage access. You can learn more about the packages and other ticket information at the Bridge School's website.

Located in Hillsborough, Calif., the Bridge School was founded in 1987 -- in part by Pegi Young, Neil Young's ex-wife -- when the couple was unable to find a school that could handle the needs of son Ben, who has cerebral palsy and is non-verbal. According to the school's website, its mission is "to ensure that individuals with severe speech and physical impairments achieve full participation in their communities through the use of augmentative and alternative means of communication (AAC) and assistive technology (AT) applications and through the development, implementation and dissemination of innovative life-long educational strategies."
