A presentation regarding a study of the Interstate 229 corridor will be held Wednesday Oct. 30th at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, 5:30-7 p.m.

The presentation will inform the public of the corridor study’s intent and scope. The public will be able to present  concerns about the roadway and its exits and entrances. The input and study will help determine the future look of the corridors.

Preliminary results of a traffic origin-destination study recently conducted for the Sioux Falls metropolitan planning area will also be available.

The South Dakota Department of Transportation, in collaboration with the Sioux Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization and the City of Sioux Falls, have called this meeting.

A brief, summarizing presentation will be made at approximately 5:35 p.m. followed by an open house discussion with SDDOT, MPO, city and consultant staff. The opportunity to present written comments will be provided. Written comments will be accepted until Nov. 13, 2013.

Information on the study is available online at www.i229study.com.
