McWings Could Raise Chicken Prices

McDonald's is about to make a major change to its famous fast food menu. On September 9th, they will start offering chicken wings in select locations, and on September 24th they will be available nationwide.

The "Mighty Wing" will be offered at McDonald's restaurants through November, and if sales go as expected, could become a permanent fixture on their menu.

Economists say that because McDonald's is such a huge chain, they could actually disrupt the chicken wing market. One analyst predicts that wing prices could rise by $2 a pound.
