Martin Truex Jr. won the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday. It was at a place where his father raced at one time.

It was at Watkins Glen, New York. Truex racks up his fourth victory this season.

It was an interesting strategy that won the race. He slowed down and let his competitors pass him.

It was under the advise of his crew chief, Cole Pearn. It was all about a precise plan on fuel mileage.

Pearn had closely calculated fuel consumption, and knew that the racers who passed them, would have to pit for fuel. And that's what happened, and Truex stayed out to race to the finish line.

And it was an extremely close finish, with a desperate charge from Matt Kenseth on the final lap.

Truex held him off at the end, crossing the finish line with a margin of victory of less than a half of a second. Daniel Suarez came in a career best third. See where your driver finished.
