It's good to be in the FX family. Many of 'Justified' fans (and some Emmy voters) would argue that the FX gunslinger series never had a villain as good or a performance as magnetic as Margo Martindale's Mags Bennett, and now the network is doubling down on the esteemed actress. Martindale will join FX's buzz-worthy upcoming drama 'The Americans' for at least eight episodes, but which side will she be on? Is another Emmy in the works?

'Justified' fans have reason to celebrate, as Mags Bennett herself, Margo Martindale, will live on in upcoming drama 'The Americans.' According to a new press release from FX, the 'Justified' Emmy winner will appear in at least eight episodes as  “Claudia,” a KGB illegal living in the United States who delivers assignments to KGB Directorate illegals Philip (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth Jennings (Keri Russell), the titular Russian spies posing as 'The Americans.'

Debuting on FX Wednesday, January 30, ‘The Americans’ takes place in 1982 and follows Elizabeth Jennings, one half of a KGB-arranged marriage planted within Washington D.C. Her relationship with her husband Philip becomes increasingly tested by the Cold War’s escalation, the associations they maintain with a network of spies and informants under their control, as well as their new FBI agent neighbor Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich). Along the way, Elizabeth and Philip find their fake relationship growing more passionate and genuine on a daily basis.
