Police released the name of the man who went berserk early Wednesday morning at the Downtown Sioux Falls Hilton Garden Inn. He was arrested after being released from the hospital.

He is 29 year-old Skye Burnham-Endicott of Sioux Falls and his rampage included tossing a smoking receptacle through a window, pulling a fire alarm, trashing a hotel room, throwing furniture out of a second floor window and leaping from the window in an attempt to escape. From there Burnham-Endicott allegedly fought with Police and was subdued by a taser.

The ruckus apparently caused between $8,000-$10,000 in damage. Charges against Burnham-Endicott include multiple counts of Burglary plus Felony Intentional Damage to Property, Resisting Arrest and False Report.

This man has a previous experience in the court system. Back in 2014, Burnham-Endicott was accused of Aggravated Assault of his girlfriend and Kidnapping for taking the couple’s two children which triggered an Amber Alert in Rapid City.

The jury found Burnham-Endicott not guilty of the more serious charges, but did convict on a criminal trespassing violation which he was given time served for 236 days spent in jail before the trial.
