The Highland Mall in Mitchell, South Dakota, was abuzz on Wednesday afternoon May 18, 2016, and this time, it wasn't because of all the great deals inside.

Authorities were summoned to the mall shortly after 1 p.m. when a man was found dead after an apparent hanging.

According to officials with the Mitchell Department of Public Safety, investigators believe no foul play was involved in the death.

The east entryway to the mall was immediately blocked by first responders upon arriving on the scene. They also took photos of a gray Volkswagen Jetta parked outside the building.

The victims name will not be released to the public until the family is notified.

However, the Davison County Coroner’s office will be issuing an official cause of death soon.
