Man Asked to ‘Tone Down’ Halloween Display

Halloween

In England, police were called to tell a man to take down parts of his outdoor Halloween decorations after some people complained the display was too scary for trick-or-treaters.

25-year-old James Creighton told police that he uses his Texas Chainsaw Massacre-inspired display to attract visitors and collect donations for a cancer charity.

According to a police spokesperson, Creighton was “advised, but not ordered” to take the display down.

Creighton said he doesn’t think he has done anything wrong.

Check out some of Creighton’s display here.

Are there any houses around Sioux Falls doing great Halloween displays?
