Local law enforcement officers are ramping up efforts to reduce unsafe driving in Sioux Falls this summer.

Sioux Falls Police Sgt. Randy Brink says a multi-agency saturation will take place Friday night beginning at 7:00 P.M. and ending 3:00 A.M. Saturday morning.

"We will have the Sioux Falls Police Department, South Dakota Highway Patrol, Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department working together in and around Sioux Falls to address unsafe driving."

Brink says Sioux Falls Police officers will focus on specific sections of the city.

"Veterans Memorial Parkway, 57th Street (both east and west), 59th Street, South Louise Avenue and South Minnesota Avenue just to name a few of them."

Brink says law enforcement officers will enforce all vehicle laws including impaired driving, speeding, reckless driving, loud vehicles, and racing.
