A tip lead authorities to a home in the 1600 block of West 26th Street and the arrest of four people, who are now facing drug charges.  A larger than average drug bust  Tuesday has taken 181 grams of meth off the streets, as well as $14,000 cash from a residence.

“I’d say that happens probably more often than not. During the course of one investigation, there are other names that pop up and that kind of leads to different investigations as well,” says Sioux Falls Police Department Officer Sam Clemens.

The meth street value is approximately $9,000. They also confiscated $14,000 in cash.

Two men and two women were found in the home along with an 8 year old child.

The proximity of the homes raided to schools could mean additional charges.

“One of them is about a block away and the other was across the street,” says Clemens.

Police did not reveal details about the eight year old child.
