I just moved a few months ago and after decorating I found I had a huge wall empty and VERY boring! I needed something colorful and something that suited me and my girls personalities. Since we love music and peacock colors I came up with a "Pinteresty" type project that they could help me with.

Projects like these allow them to be artistic, use their imagination and have some fun on the cold days.

I bought some canvases and some wood boards. When I was shopping I also found this open wood frame that added some pizzazz to the area. I also used modpodge and peacock scrapbook paper to decorate the letters Q and T for the girls and tie the peacock theme together.

I decided to use titles or lyrics of songs for the signs. I asked my Facebook friends for ideas on which ones to use that would be inspirational and fitting to our family. I also made sure to ask Quincy and Thea which ones they would like. Quincy had to have Bon Jovi and Katy Perry and Thea picked the theme song to Ice Age 4. And we agreed on the rest of them.
