This Friday is Halloween. With it being on a weekend, you know there are going to be a LOT of choices for kids of all ages, but a Halloween tradition that is now in its 5th year is The Great Funkin at the VFW with six bands including a band from Mankato, Minnesota who have gotten a strong local following thanks to a number of stellar shows in Sioux Falls and a couple of appearances on The White Wall Sessions: Useful Jenkins!

Useful Jenkins music has been described as uptempo campfire jams and a healthy dose of foot-stompin' bluegrass. I don't care what you call it, all I know is I always have a great time every time I see these guys play! Useful Jenkins will join Crash in studio Friday afternoon about 3:30!

The Great Funkin' tickets are just $10 for this 21+ show. Doors will open at the VFW in Sioux Falls (Minnesota Avenue and I-229) at 7pm with free keg beer while they last! There will also be a costume contest with prizes and gift certificates in men's, women's, and group/couples.

There are SIX bands in all on the Great Funkin' bill: Burbillies from Minneapolis, Kind Country from Minneapolis, i like you from Minneapolis, Tons Of 'Em from Sioux Falls and Jampurifi from Sioux Falls.

If you love the music you hear on the White Wall Sessions Radio Show on Sunday evenings at 7 on B102.7, you'll love The Great Funkin' this Friday night, Halloween night, at the VFW in Sioux Falls!
