Have you reached that panic mode yet? The one that has you snapping at family and friends because Christmas is days away and you are in no way prepared? Oh wait a minute, that might just be me!

Oh I have all my shopping done, it's the cleaning, the finishing decorating, the baking, and all the rest that has me losing my temper at myself and everyone else. But if your particular problem is still finding gifts, Good Housekeeping has some pretty good ideas.

  1. Darth Vader toaster-(I mentioned this before, but it is worth throwing at you again, yes, because of the movie opening this weekend)- you can find it at Kohls (if it isn't sold out yet) or kohls.com for $49.99. It has light side & dark side toaster slots and prints Star Wars on all your toast.
  2. Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Film Camera- This cute little camera prints photos instantly, has 5 shooting modes and 4 brightness adjustments to make it easy to alter shooting settings. $74 at bestbuy.com
  3. Coloring books for adults-Yup, theses are really popular right now and somehow they help us tap into something from childhood that freed our creativity and relieved stress. Find them at Barnes & Noble or barnesandnoble.com for around $10 to $15.
  4. The Purple Heart Ornament- $29.95 from purpleheartornament.org, is a gift that gives back to the Purple Heart Service Foundation which supports combat-wounded veterans facing financial, medical and emotional issues upon returning to civilian life.
  5. Sonia Kashuk Glitter Brushes-$30 at Target or target.com. These makeup brushes are not only pretty and appropriately "holiday-ish", they are also very good makeup brushes which will last awhile before being chucked.
