In a expected move, Kevin Love has opted out of contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers according to multiple reports.

This move now paves the way for Love to re-enter free agency this summer.

As mentioned, this is not a unexpected move and the Cavs were prepared for this move with the intention of re-signing Kevin Love.

By opting out, Love gives up his $16.1 million guaranteed salary for the 2015-2016.

It has also been reported that the LA Lakers and the Boston Celtics will be offering deals to Love to try and sway him from re-signing with Cleveland and moving to a situation where he could be considered the guy, not the third guy as he's perceived in Cleveland.

On June 5th, Kevin Love was asked if he wanted to return to the Cavs next season and he reponded by saying  "Yes, I want to win."

In year one with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kevin Love had season averages of 16.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
