Journey unfortunately had to make alternate plans late last month when Hurricane Isaac wreaked its havoc on Louisiana, but they've now rescheduled that postponed show for Oct. 17.

The group did their best to adhere not only to their schedule but also that of their support acts, but ultimately they were unable to work everything out for all involved. Pat Benatar, who had been part of the original date, will not be around for the rescheduled show due to a conflict. However, Journey has secured Night Ranger to join Loverboy in opening the Lafayette show instead.

Tickets for the Aug. 28 show will be honored for the Oct. 17, and good seats for the rescheduled show are still available through Ticketmaster.

The good news for Journey was that they were able to clear out of the area before Isaac hit. They traveled down the road to their next stop at the Republican National Convention where they played a private event that reportedly netted them $500K.
