A concert held in the memory of ex-Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord, featuring performances from an assortment of Lord's friends and bandmates, will arrive in stores this September.

'Celebrating Jon Lord at the Royal Albert Hall,' which will be available on DVD and Blu-ray as well as CD, is culled from a show held in Lord's honor on April 4, marking the 45th anniversary of his 'Concerto for Group and Orchestra,' which debuted at the same venue in 1969.

Explaining that the event was coordinated by Deep Purple drummer Ian Paice's wife Jacky, Lord's site adds, "After Jon sadly passed away in 2012, plans soon evolved for a celebratory evening of his music. A full symphony orchestra conducted by Paul Mann, custodian of Jon’s compositional works, and as many of Jon Lord’s musical friends as could be possibly crammed into two sets of his music. The Royal Albert Hall was of course sold out for the event."

Those in attendance witnessed appearances from Rick Wakeman, Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, Glenn Hughes and current members of Deep Purple, among others, spread out across an evening that included an opening classical set, a more rock-oriented second set, and a show-closing performance from Lord's former band.

'Celebrating Jon Lord at the Royal Albert Hall' is due for release on Sept. 26. Check out the complete track listing below.
