John Fogerty is gearing up for a busy fall with a total of 28 shows on the books through mid-December. Fogerty is set to appear on Thursday (September 26th) at L.A.'s Grammy Museum for an intimate interview and audience Q&A. Fogerty's appearance kicks off the unveiling of the museum's exhibit, John Fogerty: Wrote A Song For Everyone, which is named after Fogerty's legendary Creedence Clearwater Revival song and his new album of duets. The exhibit promises, "a unique look at the musical career of the singer, songwriter and guitarist, who, for more than 45 years, has been making music that continues to speak in a powerful way to generations of musicians and music lovers alike." The exhibit runs through January 2014.

John Fogerty says unlike many of his peers in the late-'60s who simply followed their muse wherever it led them, he needed to constantly keep his eye -- and his talents -- on the prize: "Way, way, back 40-something years ago, when I was having so much success with Creedence, as a songwriter, I used to tell people, 'For every song you hear, I write 10 other songs that are lousy, and I'm pushing myself to get that one out of ten that's really great.' At the time I called it 'staying on the bullseye,' meaning, don't get off on a tangent, suddenly: 'Hey John, let's have sitar!' -- which was a popular thing. I just wanted to stay on the bullseye and have a great big career."
