Joe Walsh: ‘Californication’ Dreaming
Joe Walsh, Marilyn Manson, Ryan Adams and ex-Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones have contributed new tracks to the Californication Season Six soundtrack.
The new season of the Showtime series — which debuts January 13th — has David Duchovny’s character co-writing a musical based on one of his books, so music is a big focus throughout its run. Walsh contributes “Funk Number-50,” Manson — who has a guest role on the show — covers Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus,” and Adams contributes a cover of Iron Maiden’s “Wasted Years.”
The soundtrack is due out January 15th.
