Jimmy Pardo Coming to Sioux Falls with Friends of the Bob and Tom Show Comedy Tour

Never Not Funny.

Not only is that the name of Jimmy Pardo’s award-winning podcast, but it’s an accurate description of the man himself.

This standup veteran is part of the ‘Friends of the Bob and Tom Comedy Tour’ coming to the Washington Pavilion Friday night.

Jimmy told me that he’s very familiar with Sioux Falls audiences:

Jimmy got his start on the local comedy scene in his hometown, Chicago, at places like The Roxy, The Last Laugh, and The Comedy Cottage.

His says his comedic style is one that relies heavily on audience interaction:

Jimmy has worked closely with Conan O’Brien over the last several years, and was with Conan during his brief run as host of ‘The Tonight Show’ in 2009.  During his time on the late night scene, Jimmy has had a front row seat for all of the comings and goings involving Conan, Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and now David Letterman and Stephen Colbert:

When he’s not on stage, Jimmy keeps busy on the internet with his ‘Never Not Funny‘ podcast and Team Coco’s ‘The Pardo Patrol‘.  Those projects allow Jimmy to work in a number of different mediums at the same time:

Sharing the bill with Jimmy Friday night are comedians Drew Hastings and Costaki Economopolus, and Kristi Lee from the Bob & Tom Show.  I asked Jimmy if it’s more competition or camaraderie at the gig like this:
