We've heard reports about a "game of the year" edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us coming this year before, but a new classification gives more credence to the rumors.

According to Siliconera, the German USK has provided a rating for Injustice on the PS Vita, where it joins the PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360. Previously, Amazon France posted a listing for a re-release of Injustice with all the downloadable content and characters for all consoles, including the PS Vita. That was back in July, and we hadn't heard a peep about the GOTY version since.

For its part, NetherRealm Studios has remained steadfast in its silence. The same could be said for WB Interactive, which published the recent DC Comics fighter. A portable version wouldn't be a first for NetherRealm, as it ported Mortal Kombat to the Vita, complete with all the characters and bonus content of the console version. Typically, where there's smoke, there's fire, so we shouldn't have to wait much longer to find out the truth about an Injustice re-release.
