Internet crimes are becoming more and more frequent and the traffic on the FBI's cyber-crime page is soaring.

Recently, I talked with an older gentleman, who wished to remain anonymous, who was the victim of an online scam. He told me that although taking the financial hit was quite hard, it was nothing compared to the frustration of trying to get his identity back.

"My identity, even with my own bank, was ruined. I didn't keep tabs on my passwords and couldn't get them changed. I couldn't even apply for a loan until this was all sorted out. I was just sick."

After listening to his story, I guess it boils down to this, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Trust me. If you can't seem to win Dakota Cash, you certainly did not win an international lottery that you don't remember signing up for.
