If you want to see and hear one of country music’s hottest stars, check out Martina McBride who will be performing at the Denny Sanford Premier Center on June 17th.

Martina, during a one on one interview with me in Nashville, says the quality of the songs she sings is her number one priority!

“It’s all about making good, quality work that is going to stand the test of time. It comes to more than just making an album. It comes to how you present yourself and the reputation that you build. It’s also a sense of pride---being able to have people know what you stand for and respect what you stand for. Feeling like you can walk into a room or walk down Music Row and hold your head up high. That’s what motivates me.”

After years of recording songs and sharing them with her fans, Martina does not take her career for granted.

“I am smart enough to know this business is really unpredictable. I don’t feel I can really set goals. I don’t ever feel like there is a certain way to achieve goals. There are a lot of different things that come into play. They are really out of my control.”

Since the start of her musical success, Martina has earned more than 15 major awards, including four wins for female vocalist of the year from the Country Music Association.

Martina McBride will be headlining the Prime Time Gala concert in Sioux Falls. The concert is a South Dakota Cattlemen’s Foundation fundraiser for Feeding South Dakota.
