Travelers be advised for a short closure of a main highway in Sioux Falls.  The South Dakota Highway Patrol, will close the northbound lanes of Interstate 229 between Interstate 29 and Louise Avenue in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, December 12, at 8:20 pm.

The temporary closure is expected to last ten minutes in order to move some large equipment across the highway.  Traffic though this area will be diverted using Louise Avenue and Interstate 29.  This work is being done in conjunction with the I-229 Solberg-Tallgrass overpass project. The entire project should be completed by August of 2013.
