Huron Looking to Host National Junior High Finals Rodeo
HURON – The director of the Huron Chamber and Visitor’s Bureau says the city is a finalist to host the National Junior High Finals Rodeo in 2016 and 2017.
Peggy Woolridge tells KOKK rodeo that says the rodeo that could be held at the Grandstand at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds would mean nearly $10.5 million over two years for Huron.
Woolridge says the organization in charge of the event will be sending a delegation at the end of February to look at Huron’s potential site.
