The Muscular Dystrophy Association Fill the Boot campaign is a tradition in which thousands of dedicated fire fighters in hometowns across America hit the streets or storefronts asking local citizens to make a donation to MDA.

This Saturday, June 25, 2016 the Brandon, SD firefighters kick off its inaugural Fill the
Boot campaign to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association find urgently needed treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases.

Firefighters will be at Sunshine in Brandon from 9 to 5 on Saturday.

“For more than six decades, fire fighters have stood with MDA in the fight to free individuals and the families who love them from the harm of these life-threatening  diseases,” said Area Director Erin Hill. “We are thrilled to lock arms with the Brandon Fire Department. We're grateful for their uncommon caring toward the kids and adults we serve.”
