Anyone who has been challenged with a weight issue in their life knows how difficult a road it is. And whether we want to admit it or not, (come on you know it's true) we all secretly hope for a magical formula, pill, philosophy or procedure that will make us one of the permanently slender members of society.

So when I come across a list like this, I have to check it out and share. Here are 9 things that skinny people eat which help them stay skinny:

  1. Breakfast
  2. Fruit
  3. Oats
  4. Chicken and other protein
  5. Nuts
  6. Popcorn
  7. Spicy foods
  8. Dark chocolate
  9. Water

I love breakfast, it is my favorite meal of the day and I usually eat oatmeal in the winter and some sort of protein or fiber cereal in the summer. Chicken- -check. Nuts and popcorn- -double check. Dark chocolate? Amen! Spicy foods? I'm Italian, so--of course! Fruit-sure but I should eat more.Water? Probably not as much as I should, but really is this the problem?

Something tells me that once again there is more to the story than this list, but perhaps it will be a starting point for someone--other than me!
