Ever since I've updated my iPhone 4S to the latest update, I've found that some of my messages don't immediately pop up or there has been some issues in delivering messages.

Apparently I'm not alone, and the problem is extended even more.

According to BGR, iPhone users attempting to text Android phones, that have the same phone number formerly connected to an Apple device, have been having issues due to messages (iMessages) being "lost." Guessing in part to the storage of the number in Apple's many forms of data collection.

Worst part about the situation? Apple appears to not have any fix for it, and probably won't until they release IOS 8 sometime this year.

If you've been texting that friend of yours that has a Android phone and they haven't responded, they might not have even received it. You might have to try giving them an old-fashioned phone call until there is a fix.
