Rockers Sammy Hagar, Robert Plant and Steven Tyler are a few of the big names stars attached to a new Elvis Presley tribute book titled, Shades of Elvis, which is being put together by photographer Christopher Ameruoso and Priscilla Presley. According to Hagar, the book will feature several celebrities wearing Presley's personally owned sunglasses. Hagar was contacted directly by Ameruoso and Priscilla Presley because they knew "he would look pretty cool with Elvis' glasses on."

Some of the over seventy celebrities that will be featured in the book are Willie Nelson, Sam Elliot, Johnny Depp, Elton John, Adam Lambert, Michael Buble, Billy Ray Cyrus, Peter Fonda, and Tony Hawk.

Ameruoso shared what it was like to shoot Robert Plant for the project. He wrote on his blog, "I continued on my journey of photographing legends and icons for the Elvis tribute book 'Shades of Elvis' with none other then Robert Plant. What a thrill to work with and photograph this living legend. Robert who I had met two nights before at his show as we were guest of his to his concert with Priscilla Presley was just a wonderful person to work with. Listening to Robert talk about what a huge Elvis fan he was and still is can be so weird to take in as all I keep saying to myself, 'But your Robert Plant the front man for the greatest rock and roll band that has ever lived.' We really enjoyed our time with this legend and will be working with him again in the near future."
Shades of Elvis is due out in November.
