Green Day Gives N.Y. 40 Song, 150 Minute Show [VIDEO]

Green Day played a two-and-a-half hour show at the tiny Irving Plaza nightclub in New York City on Saturday night (September 15th) to promote the launch of a new music streaming service from Nokia. According to Loudwire, the marathon set spanned the punk trio's entire career and contained nearly 40 songs, including classics, rarities, hits and covers of AC/DC's "Highway to Hell," Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train," the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction" and the Isley Brothers' "Shout."

Bassist Mike Dirnt told us a while back that Green Day is at its best on the stage: "I mean, whenever we go out on the stage, we always want to give a hundred and fifty percent, you know, and just kill it, and leave that stage just annihilated."

The band also performed a handful of tunes from the upcoming Uno!, including "Oh, Love,' "Nuclear Family" and "Let Yourself Go." The disc, the first of three new records from the trio, arrives next Tuesday (September 25th).

The next two after that, Dos! and Tre!, come out on November 13th and January 15th respectively.

Green Day will headline New Orleans' Voodoo Experience next month, and will then head out on a major North American tour beginning on November 26th in Seattle, with dates also booked in December, January and February.
