A Grateful Dead film, shot in 1972, is coming to theaters for one night only. Sunshine Daydream captures the band on stage that year at the Oregon Country Fair in Veneta, Oregon and it is being screened as part of the now annual Grateful Dead Meet Up at the Movies on August 1st.

Special features include never-before-seen footage of the concert day as well as recently recorded interviews with key participants from the time, such as Wavy Gravy and Jerry Garcia’s ex-wife, Carolyn "Mountain Girl" Garcia, who provide insight on how the community came together for this special event to help raise money to keep the local town's Springfield Creamery afloat.

Theaters, tickets and showtimes are now available at www.FathomEvents.com.

Please note this clip contains nudity, but thank God it's not Jerry Garcia:
