The first 'Godzilla' trailer is coming, folks. Are you prepared? We know we are, especially if it's along the lines of the mega-cool preview shown at San Diego Comic-Con this past July. From the looks of the very first image (unofficially) released, it would seem as though it will be indeed. Check it out after the break!

The first 'Godzilla' pic, seen below, was posted on the the 'Godzilla 2014' Facebook page, with the caption "Godzilla 2014 Trailer Under Construction at MPC in London." Apparently it was grabbed from concept artist Jordane Menard's Tumblr, although it looks like he has since removed it. Good thing we nabbed it for you!

The image of a man surveying the brutal aftermath of what was surely a monster mash for the ages was seen in the Comic-Con 'Godzilla' trailer briefly, so we're assuming it's being used again for the official one. As the film hasn't even started production yet, it would make sense that they're going with a stand-alone preview. The Comic-Con trailer was quite powerful, and it will do very nicely if indeed that's the direction they're going in. (Unfortunately, we're unsure when the teaser will hit, but at least we know it's in the offing.)

Directed by Gareth Edwards, 'Godzilla' is set to be released on May 16, 2014. Click on the below image for the hi-res version, and give us your theories for the film in the comments!

UPDATE: Legendary Pictures has requested that we take down the image, as it was unintentionally leaked online. We'll be sure to keep you updated with all the latest 'Godzilla' news as it comes about.
