Former Pro Wrestler Brings Junior High to Tears With Speech
This video was originally uploaded at the end of last year but is catching on this week, and will probably be showing up in social media feeds for the rest of the month. Former pro wrestler, Marc Mero, gave an amazing and moving speech about growing up, friends, and his mother to Rehobeth Middle School just outside of Dothan, Alabama.
After a fifteen year career, Mero retired in 2005. In 2007, he founded Champion of Choices, a non-profit organization that focuses on anti-bullying and positive thinking messages aimed at young children. About 42 percent of kids have been bullied while online with one in four being verbally attacked more than once.
