A Colorado farmer showed his mettle (and balls of steel!) to try to save his crops from a wildfire.

The fire broke out on Eric Howard's Weld County 80-acre farm last week and instead of panicking, he jumped in his John Deere tractor and began disking a fire line to try to prevent the fire from spreading.

Howard lost an estimated 20-30 acres, but would have lost it all if not for his quick thinking, (and large cahones!)

Here's to you Eric!
