Fantasy Football Fix: Week 10

Week 10 already here, the season is starting to fly past, and in some cases, slip past us. Another .500 week for my teams, although I finally scored an offensive TD for the first time in three weeks! Yeah, that team was actually in first place with a two game lead in the division three weeks ago. Now? Scrambling to try to salvage a play-off spot. Down to the final five weeks of many of our regular seasons, let’s try to find a few guys that can hopefully get us some points!

QB: Ryan Tannehill-MIA. Everyone talks about Luck and RGIII, but this kid has been making a name for himself in South Florida and could find his way on to your roster on a bye week.

Same can be said about Blaine Gabbert in Jacksonville who gets a Thursday nighter with Indy this week and a fully healthy wide receiver corps.

RB: Vick Ballard-IND. I’ve touted Ballard for a few weeks (about as long as I’ve been starting him in one league thanks to injuries) but Donald Brown is doubtful for Saturday and Ballard has been steady. Faces a sub-standard Jags D Thursday.

James Starks-GB. Finally got the chance to start and played pretty well with Alex Green handling the 3rd down reps.

Marcel Reece-OAK. Yeah, he’s a fullback but with McFadden and Goodson both nursing high ankle sprains, someone’s gotta tote the rock and Reece looked pretty good last week as a fill in.

Isaac Redman-PIT. The latest in the three-headed monster to show his stuff for the Steelers with 100+ yards and a score last week with both Dwyer and Mendenhall out. They get KC on Monday.

WR- T.Y. Hilton-IND. Maybe the Colts have a young wideout to grow with Luck? He’s been stepping up big over the past month including the game winning TD grab last weekend.

Darrius Heyward-Bey-OAK. Denarius Moore has been getting a lot of attention and and the Raiders HAVE to keep throwing to keep it interesting. DHB is worth a look in deep leagues.

Ryan Broyles-DET. Second time I’ve mentioned the kid and he continues to impress. The Lions face a suspect Vikings secondary this weekend.

Good luck in Week 10! I know I could sure use some…
