FAA Bans all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on Airplanes
Late Friday afternoon, the FAA, along with a host of other agencies, declared a ban on all Samsung Galaxy 7 Note smartphones from entering airliners.
The ban, which goes in effect 11:00 a.m. (CDT) Saturday, October 11, prohibits the phone from entering an aircraft through all carry-on luggage, or checked-in luggage, according to ABC News.
Which means that hunters flying into South Dakota for the opener of pheasant hunting season Friday may not be able to leave by way of air travel with their Galaxy Note 7 at the end of the weekend.

The announcement comes on the heels of several reports of the device starting on fire or exploding due to battery issues.
On October 11th, Samsung stopped production and sales of the Galaxy Note 7.
