If you're tired of all those pictures people keep posting of their meals on social media, so are some top chefs.

In fact, I witnessed it for myself just this past weekend when my wife and I were out with some friends...grrr!

With meals nowadays being so beautifully presented, many diners feel the need to share their experience with others through a photograph.

As a result, restaurateurs all around the world are leading a campaign to end what's being called Food Porn.

A number of restaurants in New York City have even started banning smart phone photos from being taken.

But it seems some people just can't resist.

One New York chef says he's actually seen customers reposition their tables in order to get that perfect picture.

He's even witnessed people stand up on chairs in order to photograph a dish - and then complain because it was cold when they finally got around to eating it.

So, the next time you visit a fancy restaurant and you feel the urge to share a picture of your meal with your friends on Facebook or Twitter, you may want to check first to make sure you're not breaking the rules.
