I admit it. I'm a Bonamassa FAN. From the first note I heard him play when he opened for George Thorogood at the Washington Pavilion back in 2004, to opening for Buddy Guy at JazzFest 2005, to his concert at the Pavilion last year where I took this picture, I can't get enough of Joe.

And it sounds like I'm not the only one since I'm stopped nearly everywhere I go with people asking if we're ever going to get Joe back at JazzFest. The answer to that is "I hope so". I know we tried for this past summer (though JazzFest worked out pretty well without him, didn't it!) But I would venture a guess that he's near the top of our wish list for next summer.

Joe's new CD Driving Towards The Daylight is another fantastic disc by one of the hardest working musicians out there today between constant touring, a new CD seemingly every ten months, his 'other' band Black Country Communion, which has released three albums in less than three years, plus guesting on numerous artists CD's as well. Yeah, I admire the work ethic and the results.

He's got a new tour set for the Fall and Winter and includes a stop in Minneapolis in April. Tickets are on sale now at all ticketmaster outlets.

He's also got a new video for the song Dislocated Boy from the new disc (and yes, that's Aerosmith's Brad Whitford guesting.

You can also subscribe to Bonamassa's you tube channel through this link. I already have just to keep me content until the next Joe show!
