David Bowie has been pretty quiet in regards to his new album coming out March 12th, but his drummer, Zack Alford, says when they went in the studio in 2011, they recorded enough material for TWO albums.

Alford also says the band was OK with the veil of secrecy surrounding the sessions. "He handed out nondisclosure forms for everyone to sign. I think it's a real testament to the value of privacy. This is zero promotion. Basically, him saying nothing is almost promoting the record itself."

It took three weeks to record the album, which Bowie has no plans to tour behind.

The Next Day is due out March 12.
