The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls is quickly becoming the place to be for classic rock. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Elton John is the latest to announce a Sioux Falls show. Elton is bringing his "Final Curtain" tour to town, Friday, October 2, 2015.

This will be Elton's first performance in Sioux Falls since a sold out date at the Arena in October 2007. In his career he's sold more than 250 million records, and has put 58 songs in the Top 40.

In a press release, Elton explained why this tour will more than likely be his last:

The simple truth is I want to spend more time with my family and less time touring.

I am all too aware of how precious the time ahead is.

My sons are growing up quickly, their early years are just flying by and I want to be there with them.

So this final Sioux Falls concert will give me one last chance to say farewell to my fans here who have been so faithful over the decades.

Tickets for the show start at $49.50 and will go on sale at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 8, 2015 at the PREMIER Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, and at Ticketmaster.com.
