When it comes to stealing a vehicle, there are better choices a criminal could make. But go ahead and call this one in - because this isn't the usual stolen vehicle/police chase story. This one involves an eleven-year old boy stealing a cement truck.

Police say that an eleven-year old boy was arrested Sunday, March 20, 2016 after stealing a cement truck from a contractor and taking it on a joyride. The stolen cement truck/police chase eventually lead authorities on a 23-mile round trip that included a tour starting in Dodge Center, Minnesota, through Kasson, then Byron and back to Dodge Center.

With a State Patrol helicopter tracking the stolen cement truck by air, the officers on the ground chased the truck, where speeds at times reached 65 to 70 miles per hour. After police placed "stop sticks" on the road causing a blown tire on the stolen cement truck, the hour-long chase came to an end on a dead-end street.

Not only did the stolen cement truck do damage to some squad cars, but also the streets of Dodge Center.
